We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated person to lead the Healthy Kid’s Partnership (HKP), an initiative of WVAHC.  The mission of the HKP is to inform health care policy for the children of West Virginia. These efforts will drive the improvement of health outcomes through policy change that ensures continuous, comprehensive, and child centered health care for our state. 

This is a highly collaborative position that is based in the Charleston office with some travel in state. A hybrid work location may be considered based upon experience, but weekly presence will be required in the Charleston location.  The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent writing and speaking skills; a highly collaborative work style; solid technical skills; highly organized; ability to coordinate events; ability to convene people for community meetings–both in person and virtual; a bachelor’s degree preferred; and commitment to the organization’s mission of bringing  a consumer voice to public policy so that every West Virginian has quality, affordable health care and the opportunity to lead an informed, healthy and productive life.
